Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash

After trying Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel and Pai Skincare Camellia Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser I had stayed away from foaming cleanserss. The only reason I decided to try Origins Checks and Balance Frothy Face Wash was because of Ingrid Nilsen. Anything that she recommends goes straight up my wish-list and they suit me 99% of the time. The cleanser is priced at $21.50 and available here.
I have had this cleanser for around 4-5 months and during the initial days I found it to be very ordinary (I blame Oskia for high expectations) and wanted to just finish it off. Again, the consistency is really very thick and you just need a pea sized amount so this was going to last a lifetime so it quickly became my AM & PM cleanser.

I squeeze a pea sized amount of product and add a little water for it to lather and massage it on my damp skin and wash it off with water. I found that it did a very good job at removing all the gunk and oil without making it my skin feeling dry or pulled. I did underestimate the cleanser because this boy has kept my skin blemish free ever since. If I am using makeup, I first remove everything with my Bioderma and then follow it up  with this cleanser and it removes all the traces of remaining makeup leaving my skin feeling refreshed and clean.

The packaging is simple and sturdy. Since the consistency of the cleanser is thick it doesn't get all over the place making it very travel friendly. It has a very minty (toothpaste-y) kinda scent which I did not like much at start but I am used to it now.

Overall, I am gonna highly recommend this to anyone with blemish prone or oily skin. I will repurchase this one because its a PERFECT cleanser for the warmer month when my skin is more oily.

What is your favourite summer-time cleanser?
