3 Ways to Improve Skin Texture

Happy Sunday :)! Hope you'll had a great weekend..Mine was pretty much relaxing! Sundays I always indulge in face masks! Today I want to share with you all, my 3 most favorite DIY's to improve the skin texture.


Yogurt, Honey and Lemon Mask


Yogurt is absolutely great for the skin. Its great for fighting acne and clarifying pores. Honey has anti-bacterial and moisturising properties, helps in healing acne. Lemon has lightening properties, so using this will help in fading the scars and pigmentation.

Mix together, 1 tbsp of Greek Yogurt (you may hang the regular curd and drain the water), juice of 1/2 lemon and 1 tsp honey. Apply the mixture on the face and leave it for about 15-20 minutes and wash it off. Follow up with your favourite moisturiser.

Sandalwood and Milk Mask


Sandalwood has great anti-ageing, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps in calming down any redness on the skin. Its great for acne prone skin. Milk is known to be a natural cleanser. 

Mix sandalwood powder and milk to make a paste. Apply this on  the face and leave it till it dries. Rinse it off with water and follow with your favourite moisturiser.

Carrot, Tomato and Lemon Mask 


Tomato and carrot are great for the skin. Carrots are rich in Vitamin A and work like miracle on acne and helps in preventing them. Having a glass of carrot juice adds a superb glow to the skin! 

Mix together 1 tbsp carrot juice, 1 tbsp tomato juice and juice of 1/2 lemon. Apply the mixture on your face and leave it for 10 minutes and wash it off with warm water.
