My views on Kiehl's Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser:

Gah! My face hates me during these super humid days.. As my skin tends to get very oily which means pimples popping out shamelessly all over my face.Yikes! So a regular face wash does no good to me at this point.  I want a face wash that has salicylic acid and will keep oil under control but not over dry. So my hunt for a perfect cleanser ended obviously at Kiehl's. The SA at Kiehls suggested this cleanser for acne-prone and oily skin.

Kiehl's Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip cap that fits perfectly so the product does not spill. The cleanser is blue in color and smells very minty-gingery. I take about few drops of the cleanser and mix water and a massage it on my face and wash it off with cold water. The ginger and cinnamon gives a tingling sensation when applied but then it just goes off. This takes away all the traces of oil and dirt without making the skin dry or feeling stretchy. Which I like, it keeps my oil under control for 5-6 hours after which I use oil blotting paper from TBS. I cannot really comment on helping take care of acne but it surely did lessen these ugly pimples from popping up.

The key ingredients cinnamon is known to have antibacterial properties that help fight acne and ginger helps in clearing out the skin tone and soothes the skin.

Pros:

1. Ideal cleanser for oily acne-prone skin.
2. Great ingredients that help fight acne and soothes the skin.
3. Keeps oil under control which means reduces the breakouts.
4. A little product is required so this bottle goes on for a long time.
5. Skin does not feel stretchy or dry .

Cons:

Not recommended for dry skinned beauties.

Recommendation:

I strongly recommend Kiehl's Blue Herbal Cleanser to girls with oily skin and have break outs. This cleanser keeps oil and acne at bay! Me loves
