Sunscreen is like the must have product in your daily skin care routine. While I knew how much sunscreen is important, I was reluctant to use it because I have extremely oily skin. No matter how much brands claim that their skin care is DIFFERENT its not that different at all!! I got Clarins UV PLUS HP Ecran Multi - Protection SPF 40 Day Screen High Protection as a free sample. My Take On Clarins UV Plus HP Sunscreen:

I am usually a sucker for Clarins skin care range. As I was reluctant to use this, mainly because I already have an oily skin and plus these sunscreens always leave a weird whitish cast behind. My views about sunscreen just changed after I used this.

Few things I learnt about sun cream is that you need to choose the one with both UVA (anti-ageing) and UVB (anti-burning), unlike when your skin is burnt, the ageing you don't see but you need to be protected from.

Clarins Sunscreen comes with SPF 40 and is PA+++ (which means very high protection), oil-free and anti-pollution. This sunscreen is suitable for any skin type, which is wow!! The texture is so light-weight, and is totally oil free and gets absorbed into the skin beautifully. Initially my face felt sticky but that was just for few seconds, then it gives a very nice matte finish with a nice radiance. They have 3 shades to choose from transparent, pink-tinted and subtle-beige. I got a sample of pink-tinted, it gets absorbed into skin and gives a nice glow. Its not that different from transparent. I like to use this sun cream as a primer. Every time I use this, makeup application becomes amazingly smooth!

Its super light weight and it blends so beautifully!! No effort needed at all and I love love this. It has a very nice fragrance and it fades in sometime.

Pros:

1. Light weight sunscreen absorbs into the skin in a matter of few seconds.
2. UVA and UVB protection suitable for sensitive skin types.
3. Its tinted, so does not leave a white caste behind. So yay!
4. Works as a perfect base for makeup.

Cons:

None!

Recommendation:

An absolutely ahhMAZING sunscreen, absolutely suitable for any skin types.Oil free, anti-pollution which is great!! It a nice sunscreen to invest in. I am surely gonna get the full size.
